Tully’s – French Roast: K-Cup

Tully’s French Roast is an extra bold roast. It has a smoky aroma with a medium-full body. To me, it has a smoky and yet somewhat spicy flavor. Surprisingly, I really like this coffee. Typically smokier coffees aren’t my cup of tea (Or should I say coffee?), but this one is really tasty. I feel that it would be more preferable to sip on a cold, wintry day. During the summer heat I find it to be a bit too heavy.

As far as pairings, I feel like it would be delicious when paired with something that has a cinnamon flavor. Maybe like a cinnamon crumb cake or even a snickerdoodle cookie. Or even a warm bowl of cinnamon topped oatmeal would be really good.

Green Mountain Cofffee – Nantucket: K-Cup

Nantucket by Green Mountain Coffee is what I would say is your average cup of Joe. Not the most outstanding cup of coffee, but it’s nothing to spit at either. It’s a medium roast with an average level of acidity. Not too much of body happening. Pretty light.

[Love this mug. Thanks Daily Shot Of Coffee!]

Nantucket isn’t a coffee I will sit and leisurely sip when freshly brewed, but it’s a coffee I find to be fantastic when iced. Pop a K-Cup into the Keurig and allow for it to do it’s thing. Place the brewed coffee into a jar and let it chill over night. Following morning, pour over ice and enjoy. When iced, it has these lovely notes of citrus and the acidity is brought out much more.
