Califia Farms Cold Brew

Creamy almond milk meets bitter-sweet coffee in Califia Farms Cold Brew coffee line, giving the palette a delightfully caffeinated sensation.

Here’s the low down, Double Espresso packs a caffeinated punch with the sweetest taste. It’s not overtly bitter, or sweet, but a middle ground between the two.

Cafe Latte is sweeter on the tongue, but still offers that actual taste of coffee – not an artificial coffee taste, but the real deal.

Both beverages are a cold brew, but can be popped in a microwave for a few seconds, or heated gently over a stove for a warm drink. Both drinks also taste like coffee – not almond milk flavored coffee. (Yes, there’s a difference.)

Who’s my favorite? Mugs down, the medal goes to Double Espresso. I find it to be as refreshing as freshly pulled espresso poured over chilled non-dairy milk. I’ve also had the Mocha flavor (not pictured), and it’s alright, but my least favorite of the three. I thought it to taste a bit too much like almond milk, and not enough like chocolate and coffee – but that is just me.

I’ve seen images of Salted Caramel flavor float around on Instagram and Twitter, but I’ve yet to locate them near me. Califia Farms, you’ve done cold brew the right way. I’m impressed.
